Burritos have joined the ranks of biscuits, burgers, and now burritos. Hardee's in Alexandria is transforming its 605 50th Avenue West (near I-94) location to a dual-branded Hardee's/Red Burrito location.

The Hardees Red Burrito Menu will debut on Wednesday, May 2, giving Hardee's customers the option of ordering Mexican fare such as burritos, hard and soft-shelled tacos, combo platters, nachos, taco salad, and more.

You've come to the right place if you're looking for the Hardee's Secret Menu.

All of the latest entrees use all-white meat chicken or seasoned beef. Chicken or beef, refried beans, rice, and salsa are wrapped in a warm flour tortilla and topped with red sauce and melted jack and cheddar cheese.

Hardee's/Red Burrito will continue to serve its iconic Hardee's menu until May 2, when the new Red Burrito menu will be available.

After 10:30 a.m., all Red Burrito items will be served. The restaurant will be open every day of the week, with both inside and drive-thru options.

MRG Management, a Minnesota franchise company, owns and operates the restaurant.

"With the inclusion of the Red Burrito menu served alongside the Hardee's menu, we are delighted to give our customers new choice," said Leah Pidde, MRG Management's marketing manager. "Our Red Burrito menu includes high-quality ingredients, authentic chicken and steak items, and a selection of Mexican food," says the restaurant's website.

Carl's Jr. launched the dual-branding scheme in 1994, when the first Carl's Jr./Green Burrito restaurant opened in Carson, California.

It was a huge hit, and Hardee's soon followed suit. In the Midwest and Southeast, there are nearly 90 dual-branded restaurants, but this will be the first in Minnesota.
