There are two types of people in the world: those who drive by Hardee's a thousand times but never go inside, and those who go there as often as they go to the grocery store. If you fall into the above category, you'll be relieved to learn that the Hardee's menu offers much more than you've seen on late-night munchie runs.

There's a whole "Hardee's Secret Menu" out there, full of strangely sensible variations that'll make you ask, "Why didn't I think of that before?"

Hardee’s Secret Menu Items Available in 2021

Since Hardee's Secret Menu isn't as well-known as other fast-food menus, you may have to clarify the following items and their ingredients when placing an order. Nobody ever got served “The Harold” by being a know-it-all, believe us.

MONSTER BISCUIT

Although the Monster Biscuit has been out of production for over a decade, most people are unaware that it is still available. The reason for this is that it's essentially a mash-up of all the breakfast food items on the menu, so having the ingredients on hand isn't an issue. Bacon, potato, sausage, ham, and cheese are all piled high on a buttery biscuit in the Monster biscuit.

If the Hardee's employee does not recognise the Monster Biscuit by name, simply clarify what goes into it. You might get strange looks, but the embarrassment and heartburn would be well worth it.

BETTER FOR YOU

If you're a health nut, you'll find that Hardee's has a "Better for You" segment on their daily menu, which is divided into four categories: Veg It, Low Carb It, Trim It, and Gluten-Sensitive. So, what exactly is the secret? While the Better For You menu only has a few things, the Veg It or Low Carb It concepts can be applied to every sandwich or burger on the menu.

If you order a Veg It version of your favourite Hardee's burger, for example, you're asking for the bun and all of the toppings normally found on the burger, but without the beef patty. If you order the Low Carb It version of a sandwich, instead of a bun or biscuit, you'll get a lettuce wrap.

CHICKEN STUFFED SUPER STAR

A calorie-monster is a calorie-monster no matter which Secret Menu you find it on – but this one came from Hardee's sister restaurant, Carl's Jr.'s Secret Menu. Order the Chicken Stuffed Super Star – a Spicy Chicken Sandwich slapped right in the middle of the Super Star burger – if you're feeling brave (and hungry).

Let's take a look at it in more detail. The Super Star is a double cheeseburger with lettuce, onion, pickle, special sauce, and mayonnaise on the side. Then there's the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which includes (obviously) spicy chicken, lettuce, and mayo. You can make this decadent hidden menu item by splitting the Super Star between the patties and leaving space for the chicken sandwich. There are four buns, two beef patties, one chicken patty, and far too many toppings to count.

HARDEES RODEO BURGER

You can technically get the Burger-King-inspired Rodeo Burger at any fast-food joint that serves burgers, onion rings, and BBQ sauce, but don't let that dampen your enthusiasm for this delectable creation. We'll admit that the combination of ingredients is one of the best of all time, but we're curious as to which fast food restaurant serves it best.

Simply order a simple double cheeseburger, onion rings, and a side of BBQ sauce at Hardee's for a makeshift Rodeo Burger. Be warned: Hardee's BBQ sauce is spicier than Burger King's.
